This shattuckite pendant is handcrafted in sterling silver in the style of Art Nouveau.
Shattuckite is an uncommon copper-bearing mineral that was originally discovered in Arizona. This particular specimen is from Namibia and is has a beautiful turquoise or teal color.
The gemstone is bezel set with a hand sawn design on the reverse. It is oxidized and polished to leave contrasting dark areas on the back of the piece.
