Petoskey Stone, Fossil Coral, & Keweenaw Copper Necklace
Petoskey Stone, Fossil Coral, & Keweenaw Copper Necklace
from $190.00
This necklace features three natural stones from Lake Michigan and the state itself. The pendant is constructed in sterling silver with tube hinges connecting each bezel set stone.
At the top of the pendant is a piece of cut and polished Petoskey stone. The middle stone is a type of fossil coral called "favosite" that is sometimes referred to as "Charlevoix Stone" for its prevalence along the coast next to the city of Charlevoix (where I collected the piece!). At the bottom is a naturally faced copper nugget from Keweenaw.
