This gemstone ring is handcrafted in sterling silver, and features an authentic piece of moldavite from the Czech Republic. Moldavite is a type of tektite, or natural glass that is formed upon meteorite impact. Moldavites have beautiful, natural formations, and I wanted to showcase that in this stone.

This gemstone is polished on the top only, leaving the reverse natural and visible in brighter light. Because of this natural back side, there is one area where the gemstone sits up a bit in the setting, leaving a small gap in the side (see the last image).

The setting is completely hand fabricated (not cast) in a sort of hybrid basket setting to allow for light to shine through this uniquely cut stone.

SIZE:

The piece of moldavite measures about 8.5 x 7.5 mm. While fabricated in size 6.5, this ring is resizable for a $40 fee. Please contact me prior to purchasing if you are interested.
