Round Pins Pack - Low Profile Holding Pins for Ball Vises
Round Pins Pack - Low Profile Holding Pins for Ball Vises
This listing is for a pack of 32 round shaped holding pins only. If you are looking to purchase a full set with all of the different shapes, please click here.
Round Pin Uses:
These small, round pins are a frequently used shape in my workshop. They are best suited toward placing at strategic points around your workpiece to keep it from moving when closing your vise jaws. These are better at holding concave, curved edges than the flat sides of the triangle variation.
Low Profile:
The original goal of this product was to create pins that would sit low enough on my vise to secure my work but not get in the way of my tool. These pins are designed to do just that. They make the perfect companion lower set bezels and sheet metal engraving projects.
Non-Marring & Non-Corrosive:
As opposed to standard steel accessories, these pins will not scratch, damage, and indent your metal if used properly.
The pieces do not need to be oiled or stored in airtight containers as they will not rust.

- Material: Biosourced PLA
- Fits most standard engraving blocks and ball vises. Measure before ordering.

Tips:
Do not over-tighten. Over-tightening will cause breakage and is a sign that a different shape combination or placement on the vise jaws is needed. When correctly selected and positioned, a light tension should be adequate to create a firm hold on your workpiece.
If the holding pins still aren’t doing the trick, don’t force it! This product will not be right for every piece, and you may need to try an alternative method of holding your work.
