These necklaces are created from pleuroceras ammonite sections from Germany that date back to the lower Jurassic period. They are set with sterling silver caps and riveted through each end to secure the fossils in place.
All of the metal used in this piece is sterling silver that has been oxidized and brushed to a rustic, rough patina. The long box chain does not include a clasp and is meant to fit over the head.

Size & Length:
The pendants measure about 40mm or 1.5 inches and the chains are approximately 25 inches long.
